Interested in getting $5000 off your student loans? The State of Vermont, in collaboration with UVM and VSAC, have created the Green Mountain Job and Retention Program to help support new graduates from Vermont colleges and universities.
Who can apply?
- Any student who graduated from December 2023 to June 2024 with a bachelor’s or master’s degree
- who plans on living and working full-time in Vermont for two years following graduation.

- Up to $5000 in loan repayment.

How does it work?
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis for as long as funding is available.
