Car Repair, Reimagined: Auto Repair Specialist Brings Services Right to the Customer's Location

The Vermont Small Business Development Center recently featured a profile of ACEDC member Pro Mobile Automotive, a unique new business that brings auto repair to the customer. 

Pro Mobile Automotive, started in 2023 by Allen Laberge and Kayla Chabot, is a Ferrisburgh-based business offering mobile automotive repair from Middlebury to Milton, bringing a range of car repair services directly to their customers' driveways or workplaces. 

Allen's expertise in auto repair and Kayla's background in finance and customer service provide a solid foundation for this new business, but neither had started their own business before. Their banker suggested contacting the Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC). Regional business advisor Sarah Kearns offered a range of resources from legal to marketing, all the components of starting a new business.
