-Our grand opening celebration will be Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28th with amazing events soon to be announced, in an open-house-style with tours and incredible entertainment for all ages.
About Town Hall Theater:
Town Hall Theater (THT) is a non-profit multi-disciplinary performing arts center and historic landmark in Middlebury, Vermont. As a regional home for the arts, THT presents more than 165 events per year, as well as youth and adult classes in the arts. We utilize our 232-seat theater and main stage, gallery, and studio space to the fullest extent, and place a priority on providing arts access for all. We showcase plays, live music, dance, film, opera, musicals, visual art, readings, talks, community events, and all-ages education.
In 2025, THT opened a modern new wing with stunning views of the Otter Creek River.
The new spaces include:
· The Seligmann Center for Learning & Engagement, featuring classes for all ages.
· The Anderson Studio and Adjacent Jean’s Place Lounge and Hare & The Dog Bar are perfect for celebrations and event rentals of all kinds, as well as intimate performances.
· The Maloney Public Performance Plaza featuring the Tilly Stage, outdoor seating, and dedicated space for food trucks.
· The Silver Maple Scene Shop is a hub for set-building and technical education.
THT is a cultural anchor for Addison County and beyond; a shared resource for artists, non-profits (including over a dozen resident companies), businesses, and educators; and a destination that unites a diverse cross-section of our community around unique, shared experiences. THT is an inclusive, inviting space for everyone!
