Town Hall Theater (THT) is a newly expanded, nonprofit regional performing arts center and historic landmark in Middlebury, Vermont. Welcoming 37,251 patrons annually, THT presents more than 280 events and classes each year and generates an estimated $1.6 million in yearly regional economic impact. Our theater, gallery, studios, public plaza, and Center for Learning & Engagement provide welcoming spaces for live music, theater, dance, film, opera, comedy, visual art, community gatherings, and arts education for all ages.

Arts access is central to our mission. With grant support funding tens of thousands of dollars in free arts programming each year, we create opportunities for everyone to participate. Alongside our professional staff, more than 146 volunteers help keep THT thriving.

A cultural anchor for Addison County and beyond, THT serves artists, educators, businesses, and nonprofits, including more than a dozen resident companies. We bring people together through shared experiences and a lasting commitment to an inclusive, inviting home for the arts.
