J. P. Carrara & Sons, Inc. is a third generation family owned and operated company that produces sand and stone aggregates, ready-mixed concrete, precast/pre-stressed concrete products, and has recently added construction and masonry products.

J. P. Carrara & Sons, Inc. was founded in the early 1940s, when an Italian immigrant named Joseph P. Carrara purchased an old concrete mixer truck to supplement his barn building business.  With the addition of his sons he began to grow the business and eventually ready-mixed concrete was the main product.  They added a pre-cast division, which began in 1970 with a focus on architectural precast/pre-stressed products.  Today, their diverse line of products includes hollow-core slabs for floor and roof deck systems, beams and slabs for bridges, components for parking structures, stadiums, and other total precast building solutions.

With the addition of construction and masonry supply products J. P. Carrara & Sons, Inc. cements its position in the local construction industry as a premier supplier of quality construction products.  The new product selection will include brick, cement block, chimney accessories, formwork accessories, retaining walls, pavers, and stucco products.
