Deer View Business Park is a commercially zoned and permitted 65-acre property in New Haven, Vermont. It is conveniently located just off U.S. Route 7 on Deer View Lane, south of the Vermont State Police barracks and directly across from the Lester Farm Store. As of 2021, an approximate average of 7,000 vehicles passed by this site each day on Route 7.
Owned by Bill and Karrie Sinks of Weybridge, VT, the land is zoned for five (5) commercial lots, and one (1) industrial lot. (See figure 1 below.)
“Flex-space” units are those designed to be easily convertible to specific needs of the occupant. They include “storefront” space typically used for retail or office applications, as well as “back-of-house” space for storage and/or a workshop. Rear access to the units is equipped with a high-clearance, fourteen-foot overhead door for easy loading and unloading from tall trucks.
As of June 2024, two tenants have each committed to one unit in the first 4-unit building, leaving two remaining units available for lease. This first building will be ready for occupancy this fall (2024), with the second 4-unit building to be ready by late spring or early summer 2025.
All plans and construction for the sites is being developed and managed by Sinks’ Weybridge-based company, Multy Builders, LLC and its subsidiary, Solid Concrete & Excavation, LLC.

Photos from our annual meeting, held at the Middlebury Inn on November 2, 2023
On June 8, ACEDC and the ACRPC facilitated a meeting attended by about 60 residents to hear from and meet with officials from various State of Vermont departments and agencies regarding funding available through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
We had our first in-person networking mixer in two years at the WhistlePig Tasting Room & Distillery in Shoreham on September 21st. We had some good food and drink, enjoyed a tour of the distillery, and had fun reconnecting with other members.
