About

The Town of Shoreham is located on the west side of Vermont bordering Lake Champlain. Its rich history began on October 8, 1761 when Governor Benning Wentworth of New Hampshire chartered the town and granted its 25,000 acres to Colonel Ephraim Doolittle and associates.

With a population just over 1200 residents, Shoreham is a tight-knit community and home to a large number of farms producing dairy products, fruits and berries, vegetables, maple products, Christmas trees and more.
