We are currently hiring for a full time Bakery Associate to work in our orchard bakery. We provide baked goods for wholesale and retail.

This position is for a production bakery environment baking pies, turnovers, donuts and various value added products.

This is a year-round full-time position. Schedule will vary based on seasonal demands and events.

Job Description:

• Donuts produced on a donut machine and is labor intensive.
• Assist with monitoring product quality standards.
• Ensure Food Safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation and productivity are maintained completing all required Food safety records as required.
• Ensure that all federal, state and company regulations and standards for product freshness, weights and measures, store safety, employee safety and refrigeration are met.
• Maintain appropriate level of inventory for all ingredients, packaging, and labels for bakery, donuts, value-added, and slicing products.
• Production packaging of baked goods.
• Cater for internal staff meetings and/or on-site workshops.

Skills and Experience:

• 1+ years’ experience in food production/manufacturing.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time; be able to lift, stack and maneuver objects; must tolerate working around ovens; and must be able to work weekends.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and food safety regulations.
• Ability to learn and work in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and able to wear kitchen uniform including shoes, hair nets or hats. Uniform will be provided at no cost to employee except shoes.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
