AmeriCorps Position: Program and Outreach Coordinator for Wren's Nest Preschool
Are you looking to gain invaluable experience in place-based education with a caring, kind, and incredibly skilled team of educators? Come spend a year serving as an AmeriCorps member at the Wren’s Nest Forest Preschool in Bristol, Vermont.
We’re hiring for a full-time AmeriCorps member who will be integral in Willowell’s outdoor programs such as Wren’s Nest and summer camps. Gain experience in place-based education and non-profit administration.
Position begins September 9th, 2024 and ends August 8th, 2025. Full Time: Requires 1,720 hours for an average of 40 hours per week for 47 weeks. Members will receive a living allowance of $30,000 (pre-tax) and an education award of $7,395 (pre-tax) upon successful completion of service.
A large percentage of Willowell’s AmeriCorps members over the past 24 years have either gone on to get teaching degrees and worked in our vibrant community, stayed to serve as an AmeriCorps for a second year, or have been hired as part of Willowell’s core permanent staff team.
