Summit Properties will hold a public information meeting on Monday, June 27 from 5:30pm - 6:30pm at the Middlebury Town Offices regarding the development of the parcel at 51 Seminary Street Ext. 

The meeting is an opportunity for Summit Properties to introduce the mixed-income housing development vision at a high-level and receive input and feedback from the community prior to beginning the design process. The meeting will include a presentation from Summit Properties regarding the overall vision for the neighborhood, its proximity to the Town center, the portions that are and are not proposed for development, and a potential timeline for development. The presentation will be followed by a Q and A. 

Summit Properties is a Vermont housing provider of mixed-income communities that got its start in Middlebury in the 1980s. Since then Summit has developed over 1,000 apartments—and currently manages over 1,400 apartments—of mixed-income housing. Summit looks forward to building on that tradition and experience to create a neighborhood that meets the needs of working families and that the community will be proud of for generations.
