In this webinar, you will learn about an approach to rebuilding a business by bringing employees in as co-owners. By giving everyone a stake in the outcome, both the fruits and the burden of carrying the business can be shared, in and beyond the recovery period. By transitioning an established company to this model, the present owner can receive a fair sale price, can continue working in the company if they wish, and can share in future earnings.

We will focus on:

  • Introducing employee ownership through a cooperative structure
  • Cover the steps in converting an established business into a co-op
  • Discuss the financing tools that are available.

About the Speaker:

Matt lives in Burlington.

This webinar is co-hosted by the Addison County Chamber of Commerce and Addison County Economic Development Corporation.
