Traditional Acupuncture & Esogetic Medicine
After many years working as a Registered Nurse in a variety of settings including Shock Trauma, Emergency Rooms and Cardiac Care, her personal experience of the healing capacity of acupuncture led her to pursue training at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now Maryland University of Integrative Health) in 1993. After completing training, she was honored to become part of the Teaching Faculty at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute. (Master of Acupuncture, Licensed Acupuncturist, Diplomate of Acupuncture, National Certification)
As with acupuncture, her personal experiences of the healing capacity of other healing arts led to further training and certification. She has studied and been certified in many forms of healing (Massage, Bach Flower Essences, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Cherokee Healing). Her most recent certification is in ColorPuncture (Esogetic Medicine) from the work of Peter Mandel in Germany, which uses the Chinese meridians along with color, light and biophoton theories. She is very excited to bring this new treatment modality to her practice and use it as appropriate when clients are interested.
A core part of her work is to assist a person’s transformation by identifying the core of the disharmony and reestablishing the sacred relationship to the self.
