Partner Member: Vermont Small Business Development Center
In partnership with the 12 Regional Development Corporations VT Small Business Development Centers (VtSBDCs) provide free technical assistance to starting and growing small businesses. Operated through the Vermont State College System, VtSBDC links businesses with higher education, state and federal programs, as well as other businesses. The VT Small Business Development Centers offer in-depth counseling assistance at no cost to ensure more successful startups of new enterprises and to strengthen existing firms.
With access to a comprehensive resource and information library, the VtSBDCs can also provide business planning assistance, marketing help, referrals, and much more. They also produce many publications of interest to businesses, such as their Disaster Recovery Guide for Business.
VtSBDC periodically sponsors low-cost seminars on a variety of topics. Click here to see their calendar of training workshops. They also offer FREE certificates for students to attend their periodic "Starting Your Own Business" Workshops. Click here for a certificate.
