Service Writers for Champlain Valley Equipment are responsible for coordinating the flow of work through the Service department. Duties include, but are not limited to: coordinating customer, warranty, and internal work, answering phone calls and emails, writing up work orders, assisting the Service Manager, and various clerical tasks. Our Service Writers represent the whole company and our brand in prominent and significant settings.
Dealership hours are 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and 8:00 am to noon on most Saturdays.

Drive Service department sales via superior customer satisfaction
Gather product information to determine customer needs
Communicate effectively with customers regarding Service work to be performed and collection of payment
Determine schedules, sequences, and assignments for work activities based on personnel's work priority and skill
Write work orders for service & warranty repairs based upon the Service Technician’s description of work performed
The candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, think independently, and have fundamental computer skills. We are willing to train the right person.
