Description:
The Vermont PTAC is an exhibitor and proud cosponsor of the Vermont's 25th Women's Economic Opportunity Conference (WEOC) held on Saturday, October 1, at the Vermont Technical College in Randolph Center.

U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy, together with a number of partners committed to providing women with career, business and educational opportunities, will be offering a day of lively conversation, engaging workshops and effective strategies to improve the economic status of girls and women living in Vermont.

Senator Leahy has proudly hosted the Women’s Economic Opportunity Conference (WEOC) since 1996.  Each year this highly anticipated event brings together hundreds of Vermonters for a full day of workshops and presentations on how to navigate workplaces, grow businesses and succeed in a modern economy.

This conference supports and encourages women wherever they are in their careers, with resources and workshops for Vermonters at all stages of professional and personal development.  Whether networking to find a job, navigating a difficult workplace or launching a home business, WEOC has a workshop to help out.

Come and meet with a VT PTAC counselor to see how our government contracting free services can benefit you and your business. As a woman-owned business, learn about the databases you could be included in and the different certification programs, from State to Federal, that are available to you.

VT PTAC will partner with the SBA and VTrans Civil Rights to present the workshop: How to be a Certified Woman-Owned Business and Selling to the Federal Government
