People's United Community Foundation awards $123,679 to community organizations in VT
The People’s United Community Foundation, the philanthropic arm of People’s United Bank, announced today that it awarded $123,679 in grants to nonprofit organizations throughout the communities it serves in Vermont.
Sixteen organizations received funding in support of activities that ranged from education programs and basic needs services to workforce development programs and affordable housing. Recipients included Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity, Committee on Temporary Shelter, King Street Center, and Vermont Foodbank.
In total, People’s United Community Foundation awarded $870,220 in grants to 141 nonprofit organizations in the communities it serves . . . . .
