New Dead Creek Visitor Center
Grand Opening Celebration 9/28/17
The VT Fish & Wildlife Department is celebrating the grand opening of the new Dead Creek Visitor Center on Thursday, September 28, at 5 p.m. located at 966 VT Route 17 in Addison (1 mile west of Rte. 22A).
This event is free to attend, refreshments will be served and the new facility will be shared with the public as well as distinguished guests at the Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Addison. The grand opening celebration begins with a meet-and-greet starting at 5 p.m, followed by the ribbon cutting and exhibit room dedication. Thousands of people visit this WMA every year. The new center will be an education resource for the community where visitors will find information about this WMA. The new Visitor Center will also featuring interactive displays and wildlife exhibits.
On Saturday, October 7, 2017 the facility is also hosting Dead Creek Wildlife Day from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. Free admission and parking is available.
