More Free EV Chargers at Danforth Pewter

Danforth Pewter is the latest location to receive a free electric vehicle charger through the CEAC campaign, with the chargers donated by Green Mountain Power. EV and plug-in hybrid drivers can use the new charger for free at Danforth’s location at 52 Seymour Street in Middlebury.

Another free charger will soon be available for public use at the Middlebury Recreation Center at 154 Creek Rd. in Middlebury. Two more chargers will be installed at locations owned by Middlebury College — at the Rikert Nordic ski center on the Bread Loaf campus and at the Snow Bowl. Those chargers — which also will be free for the public to use — will be installed in the spring.

These chargers join the first one, installed last fall on the Vergennes Green with support from GMP and the City of Vergennes. We are now working on a possible location in Bristol.
