Linda Rossi is new State Director of the Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC)
Vermont Tech is pleased to announce that Linda Rossi has accepted the position of State Director of the Vermont Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC), effective June 1 of this year. Rossi currently serves as the Associate State Director of the VtSBDC and has worked with the organization since 2005. She is succeeding Lenae Quillen-Blume after many years of service to Vermont Tech and the center.
“The small businesses of Vermont represent a vital piece of our economy, communities and state,” said Rossi. “Working with and advocating for entrepreneurs is extremely rewarding work and I’m thrilled to be able to represent them on an even higher level.”
The VtSBDC is a U.S. Small Business Administration program that provides no-cost business advising and low-cost training to all entrepreneurs in the state starting or growing their own business. With 12 locations in Vermont, the lead center office is located at the Vermont Tech Enterprise Center in Randolph. Small business owners and entrepreneurs can use the center’s development resources and meet with professional business advisors to learn more about everything from start-up planning and marketing, to loan package development and growth strategies.
“Linda Rossi has been vital leader at the VtSBDC throughout the past six years during her role as Associate State Director,” noted Vermont Tech President Dr. Philip Conroy. “We are excited she has accepted the State Director position to continue as the face of the organization locally, state-wide and throughout the nation.”
