ACEDC Members Maple Landmark & VT Farm Table Awarded Trade Show Grants

The VT Agencies of Agriculture, Food, and Markets (VAAFM) and Commerce & Community Development (ACCD) announced that ACEDC members Maple Landmark Woodcraft and VT Farm Table are among 24 VT working lands businesses that will receive financial assistance to attend trade shows as part of VT’s new Trade Show Assistance grant program. Selections were made by a review committee consisting of state agency staff and representatives of the forestry, specialty food, and dairy sectors.

Trade shows enable companies to connect with buyers and brokers, potentially opening new markets for sales. The Trade Show Assistance grant is part of the new Domestic Export Program, which also assists Vermont companies to leverage the Vermont brand and access regional markets.

Maple Landmark Woodcraft of Middlebury will use its $1,278 award to exhibit at the Museum Store Association Conference & Expo in Hartford, CT.  Vermont Farm Table of Burlington & Bristol will use its $1,500 award to exhibit at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York, NY.
