ACEDC Announces New Energy Efficiency Grant Program

The Addison County Economic Development Corporation (ACEDC) announced at their 24th Annual Meeting on December 7, 2018 the availability of grant funds for businesses to implement energy efficiency improvements recommended by Efficiency Vermont. Efficiency VT, a member of ACEDC, provides technical assistance and financial incentives to Vermont households & businesses, to help them reduce their energy costs.

This past October, Efficiency VT announced a partnership with ACEDC and other organizations, as part of the Greater Middlebury Climate Economy Initiative, to provide energy efficiency assessments for Addison County businesses. Through this FREE program, businesses find out how to reduce energy costs and improve their bottom line. Trained staff from Efficiency VT will conduct a walk-through of a business to identify energy saving opportunities and help the owner make informed decisions about what efficiency upgrades are most cost-effective. The assessment also includes recommendations and information on financial incentives and financing. For more information and to schedule a FREE walk-through, interested businesses should click here or call Efficiency VT Customer Support at their toll-free line: 888-921-5990.
