- Be a privately held commercial enterprise (not publicly traded, not a subsidiary or division of another company, and not a nonprofit).
- Be headquartered in Addison County.
- Have been in business for 2 years or more and facing issues of growth, not survival.
- Employ 6 or more full-time employees, including the owner.
- Demonstrate the intent and capacity to grow.
